Philadelphia, PA (April 7, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car crash that took place on a highway in Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon, April 7.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Woodhaven Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
