Philadelphia, PA (January 9, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious car crash on a major highway in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, January 9.
According to Philadelphia officials, the accident happened at 1:25 p.m. on the afternoon hours in the westbound lanes of I-676. Several vehicles were allegedly traveling on the highway around the area of 22nd Street when one or more lost control, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were left with extensive damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. Several parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were immediately rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
