Philadelphia, PA (August 13, 2025) – A pickup truck collided with an ice cream truck on Wednesday afternoon, August 13, in Philadelphia, injuring at least two people, according to witnesses.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. along the 4400 block of Whitaker Avenue. Surveillance video from a nearby store captured the moment a pickup truck, reportedly traveling at a high speed, slammed into the ice cream truck. An SUV was also involved in the crash.
News footage from the scene showed significant damage to the pickup truck and ice cream truck, with debris scattered across the roadway. While police have not confirmed the extent of injuries, witnesses said they saw at least two people transported to a hospital.
