Philadelphia, PA (March 16, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a major highway in Philadelphia.
According to Philadelphia police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Route 1 around the area of Fox Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
