Philadelphia, PA (March 1, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle crash that took place on a major roadway in Philadelphia on Tuesday morning, March 1.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Boulevard around the area of Ridge Avenue at 11:17 a.m. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in southbound lanes of traffic for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
