Philadelphia, PA (March 11, 2022) – On Friday night, March 11, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in a Philadelphia tunnel.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at 8:17 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 in the Penn’s Landing Tunnel. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
