Philadelphia, PA (February 25, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a three-vehicle collision that took place on a major highway in Philadelphia on Friday morning, February 25.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 6:31 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Academy Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a spin-out crash with each other. It is believed that the vehicles spun out on wet road conditions. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time following the crash.
