Philadelphia, PA (May 4, 2023) – A two-car crash took place in the greater Philadelphia area on Thursday, May 4, just after 10:30 a.m., resulting in apparent victim injuries and major traffic backups in the region.
The Philadelphia Police Department has determined that the incident occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 at Girard Avenue and Allegheny Avenue. Two drivers allegedly crashed in the left traffic lanes of I-95 in a potential rear-end wreck.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the location to aid injured victims. Still, it is unknown how many people were hurt or how many victims were ultimately transferred to the hospital.
