Philadelphia, PA (January 23, 2022) – Two people were injured in a car crash involving a home that took place at an intersection in Philadelphia in Sunday, January 23.
Philadelphia Police confirmed that the accident happened in the early morning hours at the intersection of Levick Street and Tabor Avenue. Two vehicles, identified as a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle, were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The truck went off the side of the road and crashed into a home located at the intersection. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people inside the vehicles, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the collision. The parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
