Riverton, NJ (April 3, 2022) – On Saturday, April 2, a child was killed in a fatal bicycle accident that took place at an intersection in Riverton.
According to Bridgewater Police, the accident happened around 6:08 p.m. at the intersection of Fulton Street and Third Street. A 22-year-old woman from Bridgewater was driving a GMC pickup truck at the intersection when she suddenly struck a bicyclist who was also headed through the intersection at the same time.

The area was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
