Royersford, PA (March 3, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a rollover accident that took place on a major highway in Royersford on Wednesday night, March 2.
According to local officials, the accident occurred around 9:19 p.m. in the westbound lanes of US-422 around the area of the Limerick exit. It is believed that a vehicle was traveling in the westbound lanes when it was struck by another vehicle, causing it to forcefully overturn. The vehicles involved in the crash sustained heavy damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims in the rolled vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, one or more lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
