Philadelphia, PA (May 31, 2026) – Two people lost their lives early Sunday, May 31, after a vehicle rolled over along Route 1 near the Fox Street exit in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.
The rollover occurred around 1 a.m. when a Honda SUV overturned multiple times before coming to rest on Abbotsford Ave. A 19-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were thrown from the vehicle during the collision and died at the scene.
A 35-year-old driver survived with minor injuries. Emergency units arrived and assisted those involved.
Officials are examining whether alcohol played a role in the wreck. The identities of those who died have not yet been released.
