West Windsor, NJ (February 28, 2022) – Four people sustained injuries in a car crash that took place at an intersection in West Windsor on Sunday night, February 27.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Princeton-Hightstown Road and Clarkville Road. A Ford Taurus was traveling in the area when the driver attempted to make a left turn at the intersection. The vehicle collided with a Honda Accord due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the Taurus, as well as their front-seat passenger, sustained minor injuries. The backseat passenger sustained a severe head injury. The driver of the Accord was also treated for serious injuries. Their current conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, the intersection was blocked for approximately two hours as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing. Police will update with more information as it becomes available.
