Philadelphia, PA (September 19, 2026) – At least one person was taken to a hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 South near Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia on Friday, September 18.
The collision happened at about 12:15 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles, including a silver van and a black vehicle. The black vehicle came to rest on its side with part of its roof torn off.
Firefighters pulled at least one person from one of the vehicles. The person appeared conscious and was taken from the roadway by ambulance. Officials have not yet released information about the conditions of the other people involved.
Three southbound lanes were closed while crews worked along I-95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue exit and Aramingo Avenue. Traffic was restricted to one lane around lunchtime.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
