Atlantic City, NJ (January 14, 2022) – On Thursday night, January 13, a serious car crash with injuries took place on a highway in Atlantic City.
According to local officials, the accident happened at 11:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway around the area of the 42 Freeway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles were immediately towed from the scene due to severe damages.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene. There were delays in the area until the vehicles were removed from the scene.
