Bensalem, PA (April 21, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Bensalem on Thursday afternoon, April 21.
According to officials, the accident happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of US-1 and Old Lincoln Highway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more people were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
