Birdsboro, PA (October 10, 2022) – Multiple drivers and a handful of passengers were reportedly injured in a multiple-vehicle accident that unfolded on a local highway in the Birdsboro region on Monday evening, October 10th.
The incident happened around 10:10 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Route 422 near Limekiln Road, according to the Birdsboro Police Department.
Although the accident’s root cause remains a mystery, both automobiles sustained enough damage to need removal by a tow truck.
An abundance of Birdsboro Fire and EMS units, among others, hurried to the scene of the accident. The police have not confirmed the identity of the wounded or the severity of their injuries, but it seems that two or three persons were hurt and sent to neighboring hospitals.
Over an hour was wasted while police thoroughly investigated the accident scene. Birdsboro and Philadelphia authorities are now looking into the collision’s origins.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims, along with their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.
