Ewing Township, NJ (January 20, 2022) – One person was injured in a car crash that took place at an intersection in Ewing Township on Wednesday evening, January 19.
New Jersey officials confirmed that the accident happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Pennington Road and Hilltop Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. One of the vehicles spilled fluid and both had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One person was able to extricate themselves from one of the vehicles. The other party had to be extricated by fire crews and was rushed to the hospital with treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
