Philadelphia, PA (May 28, 2022) – Just after 4:00 p.m. in the later afternoon hours of Saturday, May 28, a multiple-vehicle accident ending in possible injuries to both drivers and passengers happened in the greater Philadelphia region.
Per Philadelphia PD investigations, the event occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Exits 27 to Bridge Street and Exit 30 to Cottman Avenue. Two vehicles were passing by when they collided for unexplained reasons. While merging, one of the automobiles is reported to have side-swiped the other, causing a multi-vehicle collision and significant property damage.
Paramedics, fire rescue teams, and numerous other first responders were sent to the scene to assist all wounded victims. At least one person was injured in the event, however, there is no information on the extent of their injuries or their present condition.
The particular facts surrounding the crash’s cause are still being investigated. Witnesses and anybody else with knowledge of the incident were requested to call the PPD as soon as possible.
