Philadelphia, PA (April 26, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious multi-vehicle collision that took place on a Philadelphia highway on Tuesday night, April 26.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Academy Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control on slick roads in the area that was not well-lit. The vehicles forcefully collided with each other, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
