Sea Bright, NJ (March 16, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a head-on collision that took place on a roadway in See Bright on Wednesday, March 16.
According to police, the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on North Ocean Avenue around the area of the Highlands Bridge. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling on the roadway in the area when one lost control and ran over the centerline, slamming head-on into the other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
