Lakewood, NJ (April 11, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a rollover accident that took place at an intersection in Lakewood on Monday, April 11.
According to New Jersey State Police, the accident happened in the morning hours at the intersection of Cedar Bridge Avenue and Airport Road. A vehicle was traveling in the area when the driver suddenly lost control at the intersection. This caused the vehicle to veer off the side of the road, where it crashed and then overturned. The vehicle sustained severe damage as a result of the collision.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
