Philadelphia, PA (April 27, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident that took place at an intersection in Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, April 27.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at 9 a.m. at the intersection of 51st Street and Wyalusing Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area of the intersection when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles flipped onto its roof as a result. The vehicles sustained heavy damages as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time at the intersection. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
